The Jolly Folly

The Boughs of Folly tavern in Grünheim is famous for its potent Jolly Folly: a gin martini featuring the best fresh produce their verdant forest has to offer!


Prep time: 5 minutes

Yield: 1 drink

2 oz gin

1 oz cherry juice

1 oz triple sec

2-3 dashes prickly pear bitters

1-2 cherries for garnish


  1. Pour gin, cherry juice, and triple sec into a mixing glass.

  2. Crack ice into the glass and stir vigorously to combine.

  3. Strain drink into chilled martini glass.

  4. Dash bitters on top and garnish with cherries.

  5. Enjoy with a view from the Boughs of Folly!
